Everything about this property says “lots of room to spread out”. Built on a 10,000 sqm private plot and benefitting from breathtaking views. There are five bedrooms and an upstairs sitting room with a sofabed in the fully air-conditioned main house and one more in a separate apartment. The living space in La Veleta is open plan and opulently furnished with large sofas and rattan chairs. The original artwork and international ornamentation creates a ‘rustic chic’ atmosphere, elegant and extremely comfortable. There are French doors out onto a patio with an outside dining area. Another set of doors leads to a secluded little garden, ideal for a bit of quiet time. The interior has a feel of the colonial country club about it. Although the design is modern, the elegance and sophistication of a bygone era has been created. This house will make you wish you’d bought a cocktail recipe book with you! La Veleta has fantastic views – across the Mijas countryside to the Mediterranean Sea. At night the lights of Fuengirola are beautiful and can be enjoyed from the patio as you dine al fresco. The rooms are all doubles with en-suites and to say they are of generous proportions would be an understatement. This is a gorgeous property in the exclusive community of Mijas La Nueva. As soon as you step from your car you will see that the views from here are incredible. Luckily the promises made by this initial impression are kept throughout the property. The four bedrooms are in two separate areas of the villa. There are two bathrooms and three bedrooms – two doubles and a twin in one area. On the main level there is another large double room complete with its own lovely bathroom. All of the bedrooms have air-conditioning. Esmeraldas lounge area is comfortably furnished with overstuffed sofas; it is tastefully decorated with beautiful ornaments and artwork.
